Pumpkin Seeds, Pumpkins and Parenting

Parent Group had CDR’s main office in Norge smelling wonderful this morning. The group made  the most of Halloween by carving tiny Jack-O-Lanterns to take home and then they roasted pumpkin seeds for a healthy snack.

Here’s their recipe:

Save and set aside pumpkin seeds, let them dry (preferably overnight), and then toss in  20161031_112134oil. Sprinkle your spice of choice — Parent Group used Old Bay, for folks who like their seeds spicy, and garlic for those who prefer a more traditional snack, but you could sprinkle any spice you like, such as cinnamon, salt and pepper, or even curry. Roast the seeds in the oven until desired crispiness.
