Central Point of Entry

This is what CDR does for families:
  • Helps parents give their infants and toddlers a better start in life.
  • Helps low-income families.
  • Helps children with health concerns.
  • Helps expectant parents.
  • Provides services for infants and toddlers with disabilities and developmental delays.
  • Answers your questions, no matter how big or how small.
  • Serves families in James City County, Poquoson, Williamsburg, and York County, Virginia.
Here’s how it works:
  • You call 757-566-TOTS.
  • Your questions are answered by our Central Point of Entry, who will help you determine what services are appropriate, taking into account eligibility and need.
  • You can request a home visit and free developmental screening.
  • Most CDR services are available until your child reaches his or her third birthday. For the PAT program, we offer services until your child turns 6 years old.
  • CDR links you to other community resources.
