Fun in Our Fundraisers
Working on behalf of babies and toddlers can be lots of fun, especially when you reach out to the community for a little support.
This year’s fundraising events—the Bid ‘n Buy Auction, the CDR Garden Party, the CDR SuperHero 5K, and the CDR Oyster Roast—were great ways to engage with the surrounding Williamsburg community and gather our supporters and donors together. Our events have become Williamsburg traditions and are supported by local businesses, volunteers, and scores of attendees. Why are they so happy to take part? Because while they’re having fun, they’re making a difference in children’s lives by helping fund developmental screenings, specialized therapies, and parent education classes and resources.
CDR’s Board and staff would like to thank everyone who supported our events this past year. We look forward to seeing you again in the coming year.
Volunteers
At CDR, we are grateful to all the wonderful volunteers who help us at events, assist in our Child Care & Development Centers or Developmental Playgroup, and step up in so many other important ways. If you have a passion for helping young children, or if you simply want to make life better in your community, we invite you to volunteer with CDR.
