New Mothers
Cassandra (Callie) Fall moved back to the Williamsburg area when her baby was just three weeks old. The oldest of 10 children, Callie figured being a new mom would be easy, but she soon realized there were challenges she hadn’t anticipated.
“I found out about CDR’s Motherhood program online and decided to reach out for advice on breastfeeding,” Callie said. “I knew I needed more help than I initially thought.”
A breastfeeding assessment revealed that Callie’s baby, Coast, needed further evaluation for a possible lip tie. In addition, Callie worked with Motherhood’s Internationally Board
Certified Lactation Consultants to improve her breastfeeding techniques, and soon Coast began to gain weight. To further her parenting skills, Callie also participated in Motherhood’s Infant Massage class and the Mothers and Babies class.
“Motherhood helped me with my mental health so much,” Callie said.
