HEART

Child Development Resources’ HEART Program

HEART offers individual therapy for adults and play therapy for children, ages 2-8.  This program is designed to support parents who may be struggling with depression, anxiety, or other parental stressors, while simultaneously assisting families as they navigate challenging childhood behaviors. HEART facilitates positive parent/child attachment and believes that by building healthy relationships today, we will invest in stronger futures tomorrow.

Who

HEART (Healthy And Emotionally Attuned Relationships Therapy) is therapy for young children and their parents/caregivers.

What

HEART provides:

  • Counseling for adults in the family to relieve stress, anxiety, or depression.
  • Play therapy for the child who may have experienced emotional distress and is showing concerning behavior.

  • Child behaviorial issues (aggression, excessive crying, withdrawal, developmental regression, etc.).
